The book that Iulian Moga proposes to the reader is part of a thematic area that the author has approached for several years, in his capacity as teacher of Judaic Studies in the framework of the “Dr. Alexander Safran” Centre for Jewish History and Judaic Studies”, at the Faculty of History within “Al. I. Cuza” University Iaşi. The original work focuses on the issue of defining the relationships between Jews, pagans and Christians of the Greco-Roman world in the first six centuries. It is addressed not only to students of Classics and Ancient History, but also to a larger public, less initiated in the very sensitive issues related to ancient Judaism.

Iulian Moga wurde an der Universität Angers (Frankreich) und an der Universität „A. I. Cuza“ Iaşi (Rumänien) promoviert und ist Mitglied des „British Institute of Archaeology“ in Ankara. Er unterrichtet am Dr. Alexander Safran-Zentrum für jüdische Geschichte und jüdische Studien (Universität „A. I. Cuza“ Iaşi).
Iulian Moga holds a PhD in History at the University of Angers (France) and at “AL I. Cuza” University Iaşi. He is a member of the British Institute of Archaeology in Ankara, and holds a key position at the “Dr. Alexander Safran” Centre for Jewish History and Judaic Studies”. His teaching subjects include besides general matters of Ancient History the introduction to Judaic Studies and religious evolution in the Ponto-Anatolian space, as well as seminars on the Near East and Mediterranean in Antiquity.
